Tennessee Avenue Beer Hall in Atlantic City STYLE A roomy spot just off the Boardwalk with lots of table seating, brick walls and colorful artwork. There’s a back bar, revamped for the season, and additional televisions. THE SCOOP Opened in 2019, this beer hall has a new managing partner who has boosted the beverage program with hard-to-find craft beer picks from across the Northeast, expanded spirits offerings and five wine taps. THE MENU Even carnivores will agree that the Angry Cauliflower is a table-pleasing starter, roasted and topped with sweet chili and sriracha aioli. Shareables like the OG wings, with your choice of sauce—barbecue, sweet soy or garlic Parmesan—are plump and not greasy, but fried light and crispy. For mains, explore the new-to-the-menu flatbread section with a selection of classic flavors and a creative standout, the AC Special, with crabmeat, melted mutz, garlic, basil, drizzled EVOO and Calabrian chiles. Burgers and dogs come with an array of fixings, and traditional meals like fish and chips and New York strip steak are also on tap. PRO TIP Wednesday through Friday, there’s a midday two-for-$20 deal on items such as tacos, sliders and wings. Happy hour daily.
